Chanse Boehringer

Chanse Boehringer is an experienced Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of clinical expertise in high-acuity and critical care environments. Beginning his career in 2007, he has served extensively in Surgical, Trauma, Cardiac, and Medical Intensive Care Units across major Texas medical systems, including Methodist Health System and UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Throughout his career, Chanse has been recognized for his advanced procedural skills, leadership in critical care protocols, and dedication to improving patient outcomes. His advanced training includes the management of post-CABG patients, organ transplant recovery, CRRT, Impella, IABP, and complex vascular access procedures. With more than 2,000 PICC, midline, and IV insertions annually, he has also played a vital role in educating and training vascular access nurses and developing CLABSI-reduction strategies.

Chanse also brings unique experience from his years as a Flight Nurse Practitioner/Paramedic, providing emergency critical care transport for severely injured and critically ill patients. His clinical independence and ability to perform advanced life-saving procedures have earned him recognition within emergency and trauma communities.

Passionate about teaching, patient advocacy, and evidence-based practice, Chanse continues to elevate standards of care in every setting he serves. He is honored as a D Magazine Nurse Excellence Award recipient and is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality neurological and acute care.
