Dr. Magdala Poon is a board-certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions. She has been in private practice in Fort Worth since 2018 and is known for her patient-centered, compassionate approach to care. Dr. Poon also serves as a Medical Director at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth, where she oversees neurological rehabilitation and collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Dr. Poon completed her medical degree and neurology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she trained in comprehensive neurological care. She then pursued a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, gaining specialized expertise in EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, seizure disorders, neuromuscular conditions, and neurodiagnostic testing.

Her academic background includes a degree in Biology from Texas State University and another in English & American Literature from the University of Kent at Canterbury in England—an educational combination that strengthened both her scientific foundation and communication skills.

Dr. Poon maintains hospital privileges at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center, and Medical City Fort Worth, allowing her to provide coordinated inpatient and outpatient neurological care across the region.
