Dr. Hamid Kadiwala

Dr. Hamid Kadiwala is a highly accomplished neurologist with triple board certification in neurology, neurophysiology, and epilepsy, bringing extensive expertise to the diagnosis and management of complex neurological disorders. With years of specialized training and clinical practice across leading medical institutions in Texas, Dr. Kadiwala has built a reputation for excellence in both inpatient and outpatient neurological care. His areas of specialization include epilepsy management, neurodiagnostic testing, seizure disorders, EEG interpretation, and advanced neurophysiological monitoring.

Dr. Kadiwala began his academic journey with an undergraduate degree in Political Science at the University of Texas at Dallas—a path that developed his analytical thinking and broadened his understanding of diverse communities. Driven by a passion for medicine and patient advocacy, he pursued his medical degree at UT Southwestern, one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers. He subsequently completed his neurology residency at the same institution, receiving rigorous training in the full spectrum of neurological diseases.

To further deepen his clinical expertise, Dr. Kadiwala completed a neurophysiology fellowship at Houston Methodist, followed by a subspecialized epilepsy fellowship at UT Southwestern.
